Marketing

department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.We're seeking a seasoned Global Digital and Social Media Communications leader to shape Dolby’s brand identity, drive global marketing strategies, and ensure consistent, effective communication across digital and traditional channels. This role demands a dynamic, innovative leader adept at crafting and executing engaging digital and social media content strategies.Responsibilities:Brand Strategy & Governance:

Develop and enforce global brand strategies and guidelines to ensure consistency across all markets and channels.Integrated Marketing Communications:

Create and implement plans to effectively communicate Dolby’s brand and product value worldwide.Digital Marketing Strategy & Governance:

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies leveraging current and emerging channels.Unite regional/local digital marketing experts to address challenges and opportunities.Create and enforce Dolby Global Digital/Social/Influencer Guidelines and Playbook.Manage global social channels and support regional marketing.

CRM Strategy & Governance:

Develop and execute a global CRM vision and strategy for all audience segments.Collaborate with teams to build new capabilities and support CRM strategy implementation.Oversee regional CRM program launches and refinements.

Content Strategy, Creation, and Management:

Oversee digital content creation and management across platforms.Develop and deploy toolkits and strategies for global campaigns and product launches.

Campaign Management:

Plan and execute global integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Lead ongoing global digital marketing efforts.Develop and execute social/digital plans for global industry events.

Collaboration, Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

Lead a team of brand and digital marketing professionals.Manage relationships with agencies and social media partners.Influence and set best practices for global and regional digital marketing.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives.

KPI Setting, Process Management, and Operations:

Develop and deploy universal digital and social media KPIs.Monitor and analyze global brand and digital metrics.Manage the budget for global brand and digital marketing initiatives.Oversee global data/analytics tools.

Primary KPIs:Dolby Brand Awareness & UnderstandingDolby Brand Engagement (Demos, Follows, Shares, Likes, Comments)Consumer Marketing Visibility and SentimentSEO RankingWebsite TrafficEmail Subscriber Growth and EngagementQualifications:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, or related field.Experience:

15+ years in digital media and marketing, preferably with a digital-centric strategy at an agency or major brand. Regional marketing experience is essential. Prior experience leading a global brand and digital communications team is beneficial.Skills:

Deep knowledge of social media, social commerce platforms, and influencer marketing. Experience with consumer and integrated marketing, cultural and consumer insights, and collaboration with Hollywood creators and talent.Characteristics:

Proactive leader and doer, strategic, innovative, collaborative, and easy to work with. Strong communication skills and global sensibilities are essential. Must be fluent in English and willing to travel up to 30%.Location:

Los Angeles, California or Bay Area.The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is$249,000 - 309,000,which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
