Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with Project Designers and Senior Designers to select furniture and finishes.Prepare detailed drawings, presentation packages, and cost estimates using Zoho or Project software.Plan space utilization and layout, integrating color and furniture choices under the guidance of senior team members.Coordinate material specifications and quantity assessments for comprehensive Bill of Materials, ensuring accuracy against plans.Estimate design timelines, maintain project time sheets, and manage project budgets in alignment with Senior Designers.Develop detailed working drawings for specification and installation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.Assist in the development and presentation of design proposals and contracts to clients.Conduct on-site verification of space dimensions, conditions, and existing furniture inventory as needed.Key Selection Criteria:

Work Experience:

Prior experience in commercial interior design preferred.Working knowledge of CET preferred.Education/Qualifications:

Degree in Interior Design from an accredited school (FIDER preferred).Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures in commercial interior furniture planning.Commitment to maintaining professional and technical knowledge relevant to the role.Other/Preferred Skills:

Preferred RID or IIDA license.Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Writer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Innovative problem-solving skills to meet customer requirements effectively.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Keen attention to detail and accuracy in project execution.Proven negotiation, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.Ability to lead and work effectively with diverse teams.Capacity to multitask and manage interruptions effectively.

This position is an on-site position with the possibility of hybrid after a period of training.
