Executive Creative Director

at Media.Monks, you'll work alongside other business leads in the automotive scaled client account, driving our vision, nurturing creative excellence, and helping shape big decisions across the company. Your role, reporting to the EVP, Global Creative, is all about leading, inspiring, and growing our creative teams while hitting clear goals that push us towards our future vision. As an ECD, you'll be the go-to creative partner for our clients, providing executive-level guidance and collaboration that's key to our client' growth and retention. Additionally, you'll be at the heart of pushing for cutting-edge, innovation-first creative in pitches and projects, at times working with different capabilities and client teams to bring together the best collective partnership.You will work closely with account leadership on how we continue to grow and support our strong relationship with one of the largest automotive companies in the world. Also pivotal to your success in this role is having a strong partnership with the other discipline leads and contributing to an environment of teamwork and mutual understanding. You will need to work collaboratively and inclusively across brand, strategy, product, content and integrated marketing teams through a variety of opportunities while also supporting your ever-growing creative team. Of equal importance is your influencing prowess with clients while ever being humble and adaptable.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the Creative Vision:Create new industry standards for brand experience design and redefine the traditional brand-agency partnership by leveraging our expertise in emerging technology to drive innovative creative that crosses marketing, product, and the consumer journey.Ensure our reputation is consistently innovative, smart, fantastically crafted, kind and fun.Help set and achieve annual creative department goals, ensuring these objectives are met and progress is tracked on a quarterly basisLead, Grow, and Problem Solve:Manage and mentor our creatives, including Group Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Motion Artists, Designers, and other creative specialists, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation by promoting a mindset of risk-taking and continuous learning as well as facilitating group discussions and hackathons.As one of our Sr most leaders, be a guide to or collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, accounts, technology) to solve challenges and remove roadblocks.Lead with our values, be empathetic, accessible and relatable, and champion inclusive values.Client Relations and Business Growth:Work closely with senior business leaders to shape growth strategies for creative services and team up with cross-functional teams to tackle client goals, challenges, and opportunities.Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a reliable creative ally, and guaranteeing client satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with clients to devise creative strategies and solutions that align with their business objectives and catalyze results.Oversee and steer the creative strategy, briefs, concepts, and execution for business development and client pitches.Ensure and Expect Creative Excellence:Oversee that the creation of all digital work is impactful, differentiated, and high-quality.Push both our talent and our clients to achieve best-in-class, award worthy work.Work with other department leads ensuring creative concepts align with client objectives, are executable and profitable.Create and Uphold Process:Develop internal processes that enhance workflow efficiency, creativity, and team collaboration.Oversee the creation of training material to address various skill gaps within the team.Contribute to streamlining process across major accounts and projects, eliminating obstacles that hinder our pursuit of creative excellenceElevate Our Brand Presence and Perception:Represent Media.Monks at public events, awards, and industry activities, maintaining a strong presence and reputation in the industry.Be a champion of our creative work and promote our best both internally and externally to increase awareness and shift perception of our brand and capabilities.About You

Qualifications:Extensive experience in a creative leadership role within at least 1 top-tier agency. Typically 13-15 years of creative experience, 3-4 years of experience at the Group Creative Director level, and 5- 7 years as a Creative Director in an advertising agency.Possess a robust portfolio that showcases a broad spectrum of creative work, including successful and award-winning campaigns that deliver innovative and impactful creative solutions.Demonstrate proven thought leadership and visionary capabilities in brand strategy, effectively balancing vision, creativity, and business outcomes.Exhibit outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, inspiring and motivating a diverse team.Deep understanding of brand, digital, and the latest creative and tech trends that leverage data and insights to identify unique opportunities.Contribute constructively to discussions throughout the creative process, from concept to production, with clear, focused thinking.Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.Automotive and production experience is highly desired.Your Work Style:Self-motivated, resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.A strong desire to build and develop diverse teams and diverse perspectives, empowering the voices that are both close and abroad, while many of the teams work remotely.Highly creative and imaginative with a strong visual and design aesthetic.Strategic thinker with the ability to connect creative ideas with business objectives.Capability to lead fast-paced projects and drive complex opportunities to perfection, with an eye for both strategic and creative excellence.Working Conditions:The role may involve long hours and tight deadlines, requiring flexibility and a commitment to maintaining high standards under pressure. Collaboration with teams across different locations and time zones is frequently necessary.This is a hybrid role that
