Job Description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) Streaming Services and Communication Security team is seeking a System Administrator with TEMPEST experience. The Streaming Services and Communication Security team is responsible for the timely delivery, deployment, and support of video conferencing and streaming, as well as the security of encrypted network traffic and devices and the control of wireless countermeasures. The successful candidate will be the enterprise lead for Communication Security (COMSEC) and TEMPEST, as well as provide ancillary support for streaming services.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Evaluate Sites for TEMPEST countermeasures review.Review permissibility of Personal Portable Electronic Devices.Review and maintain corporate policies related to TEMPEST guidelines.Be primary COMSEC custodian for site.Drive continuous improvements.Communicates effectively and supports safety and security (cyber and physical) principles.Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary and/or permanent solutions.Be willing to attend internal and external training as necessary to stay updated on the latest National Policies, technologies, and internal processes.Provide Streaming Services support as needed.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$68,800.00 - $105,300.00 annuallySalary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
