We're looking for a content designer to join the Developer Division Design Studio and help us create the best possible experience for developers. As part of the team, you'll collaborate with UX designers, researchers, project managers, and engineers to improve and expand some of the fastest growing products.Our content designers cover everything from terminology and tone to implementing consistent, clear, and strategically sound content across the platform. Learn more about the role and joining our team.ResponsibilitiesAs part of the team you'll drive UX writing and content design for your product areas.Design and write friendly, brilliantly clear UX content that helps customers achieve their goalsCraft, refine, and implement consistent naming and terminology across your product areaTest, validate, and adapt UI copy, content strategy, and product flows based on customer feedbackUnderstand, employ, and evangelize our voice and tone and content design principalsIdentify and pitch opportunities for content additions and information hierarchy improvementsCollaborate with your peers (including design, research, product management, and engineering) to enhance the clarity and usability of product experiencesUntangle complex technical concepts and recommend strategic content solutions to make them more humanParticipate in weekly design team critiques to get and give feedback on product workFoster and support an inclusive and diverse culture within the Developer DivisionRequired qualifications:3-5 years of content design experienceProven record of customer advocacyExperience working with multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, and product managementAbility to think creatively and critically about design problemsAbility to operate independently; self-motivatedCan work with multiple stakeholders to prioritize incoming requests to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to synthetize content solutions from ambiguous conceptsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present your work to peers across disciplinesComfortable and enthusiastic about working in a complex and highly technical product spaceA portfolio review presentation is required to interview for this role. Your presentation should communicate your work experience and demonstrate your content design and communication skills
