.---As a VFX Coordinator on our VFX Features-TV team, you will be supporting both the SVP and VP of VFX from pitch to play. We are looking for someone who has the experience and intuition to see a show as a whole and help to set it up for success. We are looking for someone who can anticipate how and when to engage actively to keep our slate on the rails. Your proactive approach will allow you to play a central role in understanding our cross-functional partners from across the studio and know when to engage. You will be engaging with other studios and VFX teams and help support as well as to provide organizational support on vendor management, databases, and other administrative duties to keep our shows on track.Responsibilities

Assist as needed with all aspects of VFX production, from development and pre-production through final deliveryUpdate and maintain calendar for both SVP and VP of VFXUpdate and maintain asset and element library from past showsOnboard teams with Box, Aspera accounts, Skydance emails, etc.Liaise between vendors, crew and internal teams to improve cross vertical information flowTracks and manages NDA’s, scripts and VFX schedules, keeping stakeholders apprised of statusRequirements

Experienced managing a heavy volume desk or setStrong knowledge of MS Office package (including Word and Excel)FileMaker Pro and ShotGrid knowledge is not mandatory but highly desiredWilling to download and upload files from Aspera when neededWilling to learn and manage production file sharing such as PIX and BOXBasic understanding of visual effects and post-productionExcellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects under deadline pressureStrong communication skills, both written and verbal with customer service orientation and toneHandles incoming calls from vendors as needed; coordinates administrative projects as directedFlexible to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent mattersAbility to handle a fast-paced environment, overseeing several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)Strong organizational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mentality and determination to problem solveTeam-player who operates efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented settingA love of data and efficiency through using technology to solve problemsThe hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $24.04 - 25.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.
