Job purpose

Furnitureland South, the World’s Largest Furniture Store, is seeking a highly creative and strategic-minded individual to join our marketing team as a Creative Marketing Manager. This role is pivotal in driving the brand's creative direction and ensuring cohesive and innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Creative Strategy:

Develop and implement creative marketing strategies that align with Furnitureland South's brand objectives and drive customer engagement.Campaign Development:

Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, etc.).Content Creation:

Oversee the creation of compelling and persuasive content for marketing materials, including advertisements, product descriptions, blog posts, social media posts, and website content.Brand Management:

Ensure consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, merchandising, and digital marketing to align creative efforts with overall business goals.Market Research:

Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform creative strategies and keep Furnitureland South at the forefront of innovation.Budget Management:

Manage and optimize budgets for creative projects and campaigns to maximize ROI and ensure cost-effectiveness.Analytics and Optimization:

Use data-driven insights to track campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize future marketing initiatives.Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of creative professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Required Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field from an accredited University and three to five years of Marketing/Creative marketing experienceProficient in Adobe Creative SuiteUnderstanding of CMS platformsExperienced in managing multiple projects from concept to deliveryStrong understanding of marketing principlesSeasoned ability to creatively derive insights from multiple sourcesPreferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic design or related field of study with minor in field of business1-2 years agency experience

Working conditions

This job operates on our Jamestown campus with 0-5% travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
