Essential Functions & Responsibilities :35% Represents the Credit Union; promotes the Credit Union to employees and works with sponsors to maintain positive relationships. Promote Credit Union image & growth in the local community through participation in organizations and programs. Helps assist with Ranger and Community Ranger volunteer programs where needed.30% Assists in advertising and sales promotions. Coordinates advertising programs and collateral materials. Helps promote the Credit Union through social media channels where needed.25% Assists marketing and sales planning, including an analysis of competitive products/services and selling techniques, legislation, budgets, pricing and distribution. Assists with management of community donation request, communication, tracking and distribution of funds.5% Monitors and tracks all marketing inventory as well as the branch provision merchandising program.5% Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:The employee's actions should always reflect the Credit Union's TREAD model to teach our members and each other, respect the Credit Union culture and philosophies, empower ourselves and others, adapt to the surroundings, and deliver on our promises.Carry out assigned responsibilities achieving the Credit Union's planned market share, assets, loans, other products/services, SEG events, project management, mailing and other objectives.Assist the VP of Marketing to provide direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the Credit Union should take.Meet the Credit Union's growth objective with respect to new sponsor groups.Ensure communications are accurate, timely and within budget guidelines.Understand and follow the credit unions policies and procedures in place

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience

Two years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education

(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills

Significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation internally and/or externally is an important part of the job. Good communication and team player skills. Self-starter, who is motivated with the ability to motivate or influence others. Positive attitude, friendly, courteous, tactful, and professional are essential elements of the job. Detail oriented to ensure accuracy. Work involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information, which may require some discussion.

Other Skills

Strong personal computer skills including data entry and basic computer operation functions; including data entry, knowing how to turn a computer on and off, what buttons on the mouse perform which function. Ability to create and log into an email account and send and receive message. Ability to compose, format, save, and print documents within Microsoft Word and word processing within various email programs.Ability to use Internet browsers, using search engines to perform keyword searches, visiting websites to research industry information and reports.Ability to express ideas concisely using proper grammar and punctuation.Ability to use and operate a 10 key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.

Physical Requirements

Communication is important to impart detailed or important information accurately and efficiently to members and coworkers. Therefore, must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of both written and verbal communication. Ability to exerts up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally and lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Involves standing most of the time but may involve walking or sitting for brief periods of time.

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Exposure to ambient office equipment noise such as computers, telephone, and conversation between coworkers and members.
