POSITION: Sr. Manager, Creative Partnerships Marketing

DEPARTMENT : Brand Strategy & Marketing

REPORTS TO: Director of Partnership Marketing

STATUS : Full-Time, Exempt

The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a Sr. Manager, Creative Partnership Marketing to work closely with the partnerships team as a dedicated resource for campaign, program and idea development. With a clear understanding of brand priorities and consumer insights, they will develop innovative, breakthrough programming that drives impact for our partners, fostering stronger relationships and results.

This position reports to the Director of Partnership Marketing and is an integral member of the overall marketing department - building synergistic programming that delivers for our partners, the brand, and our fans. It's a highly creative and collaborative role that will touch every department in some capacity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Director of Partnership Marketing to develop creative ideas and impactful programming that aligns with both the partners' and Chiefs' key objectives.Build out new marketing assets that can be leveraged by partnerships to win new business and increase existing contracts.Leverage brand assets and strategies to develop, create, sell in and execute thoughtful marketing programs that align with the Chiefs brand.Provide segment-specific and fan-first specific ideas, helping to shape and communicate the vision and mission for each partner plan.Utilize excellent written skills to assist with ideation write-ups, branded content scripts and programming decks.Present ideas and concepts to both internal stakeholders and external partners and prospects.Work closely with internal production and partnership strategy teams to bring branded content ideas to life, from the conceptual stage through final edit.Attend and provide input on partner shoots as needed to help maintain integrity of the concept and ensure that content is meeting creative and strategic objectives.Help lead brainstorms and communicate cross-functionally to keep stakeholders abreast of ideas that may involve their teams.Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and advertising activities.QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree required - Bachelor's Degree (Marketing preferred)5-7 years creative marketing/brand experience - preferably within the sports, lifestyle brands or entertainment industry2+ years in customer/client facing roleCreative thinker with a passion for understanding consumer behavior and solving complex marketing challengesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities, and consistently meet deadlinesStrong understanding of all digital/social media platformsExceptional presentation, written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFirm grasp of the production process, from budget costs to pre-production needs to day-of shoot and edit.Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power PointAvailable to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays (aligned to football schedule)Other details
