Full-Time Marketing Coordinator

with a strong knowledge of events and tradeshow/workshop planning and social media, possess excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to travel to tradeshows/workshops. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to take on a new, meaningful challenge and grow their marketing events skills!

We are looking for a team player with a “can-do” attitude, a highly motivated self-starter, an individual with the ability to learn quickly with minimal supervision. The candidate must be able to work independently but also collaboratively across different departments and react quickly to changing priorities with consistent timeliness.

This is an onsite position; no hybrid/remote work schedule is offered.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Day-to-Day Activities:

Provide support to the marketing department as directed. This may require coordinating and working with other departments to ensure that tasks are seen through.

Prepare, edit, and format documents and other paperwork such as spreadsheets, presentation materials, forms, etc. on company shared drives and intranet.

Coordinate and manage the ordering, shipping, storage, and billing of marketing materials.

Track, collate, and maintain inventory of marketing materials.

Intermediate experience navigating and posting on social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Ability to use Google search engine and other resources to research information, as needed.

Undertake administrative tasks as assigned to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.

Tradeshows/Workshops/Marketing Events:

Event planning includes booking venues, travel, hotels, and catering for congress/ tradeshows, webinars, and medical education events.

Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.

Coordinate logistics related to the virtual components of our hybrid conferences including but not limited to speaker scheduling, internal staffing and audio-visual team communication.

Assist with exhibitor onboarding and virtual booth deliverables.

Coordinate communications pre-event, during the event through all channels, and post-event.

Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to joimax standards.

Utilize technology for event registration, mobile apps and virtual platforms.

Travel to our events and provide onsite support with registration set up, work with the exhibitors and joimax sales/clinical team to execute the event including setup and post event tear-down.

Support marketing team and other department managers with special tasks as assigned.

Minimal Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of recent work experience in a marketing role in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent English written & oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills both in person and by phone & email with a high level of professionalism.

Ability to troubleshoot, work independently but also work in a team environment.

Excellent organizational skills and experience with project management.

Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments from a variety of staff.

Experience with social media is a plus.

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, and the internet to conduct research, event administration and procurement.

Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines.

Must be flexible to work the occasional weekends or travel with the occasional overnight travel (1-2 times per month)
