How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (Sr. TME) position plays a vital role within the greater product management team, driving technical strategy and customer adoption of Company solutions. Aiding our field of sales and channel professionals along with partner organizations is critical, with the objective of helping teams build and scale their knowledge of Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions services, products, and technologies.

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is in search of a TME team member will become a subject matter expect for future SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA 5G functionality in the NetCloud service. As a SME you will be aligned with PM, R&D, SE and sales accounts team assisting in the customer journey and experience. With a goal of ensuring effective communication of new technology capabilities and applicability to customer use-cases, while also capturing valuable product feedback during the process.

What Will You Do?

This role is highly visible throughput the entire company in addition to partners and customers in the following areas.

Reference Architectures - Creating examples of networking topology, utilizing NetCloud service features and functionality combined with best practices to support common customer use casesValidated Designs - Customer guides that closely align with Reference Architectures that guide our customers to best practice designsProduct Beta Programs - Participate and help orchestrate beta programs by defining test criteria, customer qualification and early customer engagementsCompetitive Analysis - Conduct competitive analysis in the categories of functionality, performance and usabilityDevelopment of Compelling Technology and Product Demonstrations - Determine how best to showcase CP technology in various demo environmentsDevelop Trial Process Success Criteria - Help determine as well as document the success criteria for repeatable customer proof of conceptsPerformance Testing Definition - Determine the criteria that CP solution test teams require to develop test cases and develop the field; and create customer facing content to communicate these resultsTechnical Decision Maker (TDM) Presentations - Develop technical presentations used by CP and partners to educate customersCustomer Engagements - Engage with various departments on strategic customer accounts actively in the sales processCreate collateral describing a feature or solution behavior, configuration, and best practicesDevelop technical slide materials to serve as a foundation for training curriculum and intent on advancing customers' understanding of the productCompetitive intelligence gathering, strategy analysis, and product teardownsRecord and edit demos to evangelize the value differentiators of the productExtensively collaborate with marketing, sales, channel, support and operations teams which all have their own unique needs. A TME works each functional department providing tailored guidanceExternal to the company TME will be involved in partner and customer facing presentations, executive briefings (travel, on-site and virtual), tradeshow demonstrations and possibly other speaking engagementsQualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Self-starter, strong team player, that focuses on cross-functional collaboration across the company to be effective as a TMEConfidence to present new and creative ideas to the teamAbility to assimilate new technologies quickly and then formulate messaging, documentation and trainingExperienced in a technical marketing role with past experience to lean on and move fastEight (8+) years of technical experience in enterprise networking and security sector, including customer facing responsibilities ideally quota bearingFive (5+) years of technical marketing engineering experience in the tech industryStrong understanding and background in networking and security technologies (L2/L3, SD-WAN, Firewall, L4-L7, IDS/IPS, SASE etc.)Understanding of Cloud technologies - AWS, Azure, VPC, etc.University degree preferred but not mandated. Experience in building customer networks can counter any formal educationMust be able to demonstrate confidence in networking architecture, engineering, operations and security discussionsProven ability to understand complex and in-depth level technical situations, related business challenges and be able to communicate strategies for effective solutionsExcellent communications skills and comfort/experience with public speakingAbility to distill complex technical concepts into understandable language to any level of audienceIn-depth understanding of networking, security#LI-Remote

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

$133,000.00 - $247,000.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Please note that an employee's FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
