About the role

We are looking for an experienced and energetic professional with marketing communications and political organizing experience. The Marketing Manager role will oversee regional K-12 and Higher-Ed school bond campaigns. This person would be responsible for the management and execution of bond campaigns and community advocacy campaigns along with strategic brand marketing needs. This position works extensively with school district leaders and community advocacy volunteers. A strong candidate will have experience managing staff, managing relationships, understanding the political landscape, be team oriented, and thrive managing multiple projects at a time.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Bond and community outreach campaigns

• Building & fostering client, company, & community relationships

• Training and development of Marketing Coordinators and staff members

• Supporting Business Development and Marketing Vision

• Facilitate and lead client meetings

• Assist and attend conferences, tradeshows, and client events

• Assist with final photography as needed

• Manage QA/QC for campaigns and brand marketing deliverables

• Assist with Marketing & Business Development execution

• Work with the creative team to development campaign materials such as presentations, direct mail, flyers, signs, and other deliverables.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel, logistics and special projects as assigned

• Creating and tracking campaign budgets with clients and political action committee members

• Analyze the success of bond campaign initiatives and provide strategic feedback to the marketing leadership team.

• Conduct training, create process guidelines, and manage the bond campaign process as needed with marketing team.

• Attend client and community meetings as needed, some during evenings

• Attend client events, conferences, and tradeshows as needed, some overnight and multiple days.

• Travel as needed regionally in Texas and Oklahoma

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, marketing or other related degree4-6 years of experience in related field.Working knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteTeam oriented with strong collaboration and communication skillsMultitasking abilities and outstanding time management skills.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skillsAbility to work well and collaborate in a team environmentExperience running or managing some or all components of an electoral programExperience in education or higher educationPrevious staff management experience preferredWillingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as neededAbility to exercise strategic thinking, mature judgment, and creative problem solving.

Reports

Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.

Continuing Education/ Expertise/ Leadership

Participate in seminars, conventions & organizations relevant to Marketing (SMPS, AMA, TSPRA, TASA/ TASB conventions, AIA seminars) in order to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and techniques.
