Position Summary

As a Multimedia Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual creative direction of our products and events. You will be responsible for capturing compelling photos and videos, and subsequently editing and producing high-quality footage that enhances our brand's visual storytelling. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating engaging multimedia content that effectively communicates our brand message and captivates our audience across various platforms.

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Demonstrate SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.Creative Direction: In collaboration with marketing team, set and maintain the creative vision for multimedia content related to products and events.Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos using professional equipment, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and objectives, including product photography and full vehicle shoots.Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished videos that are visually appealing, cohesive and effectively convey key messages. This includes color correction, sound editing and adding graphics or effects as needed.Content Management: Organize and manage multimedia assets, ensuring they are stored in a logical and accessible manner, utilizing our digital asset manager.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales and product development to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets their needs.Event Coverage: Attend and capture footage at events, including product launches, trade shows and community events.Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, techniques and technologies related to multimedia production and incorporate innovative approaches into projects.Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively and adhere to deadlines.Communication: Clearly communicate project status, timelines, and any potential issues to stakeholders.Travel: Ability to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time for trade shows and eventsKnowledge Skills & Abilities

Knowledge skills:

Social Media Content Creation: Experience with creating engaging content in both long and short form for various social media platformsMultimedia Production: Proficiency in photography and videography techniques and equipment, including camera operation, lighting, composition and audio recording.Video Editing Software: Strong skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition) is also beneficial.Graphic Design: Understanding of graphic design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout, to create visually appealing graphics and animations.Abilities:

Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop compelling visual content that resonates with the target audience.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all multimedia assets, including editing, color correction, and audio mixing.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues related to equipment or software during production and post-production stages.Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, accepting feedback and contributing ideas to enhance multimedia projects.Physical/Mental/Sensory Requirements

Fast paced, team oriented, light manufacturing environment.Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting.Position is based in Hudsonville, MI.Minimum Requirements

(Education, Experience, and Certification)

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fieldAt least 2-4 years of photo/video experience working in a corporate or agency setting

Salary Description

$62,000/ $75,000 annually based on experience
