Job Description

The Director, Brand Partnerships - Creative Strategy role on the equalpride Brand Partnerships team calls for a quick-witted, forward-thinking creative with the unique ability to fill the gap between multiple parties, platforms, brands and objectives - with sharp, original, creative solutions. The role requires a hyper-collaborative, highly-energetic individual with the capacity to think on their feet and operate with effective, superior written and verbal communication skills. Equalpride's Brand Partnerships team handles advertising and marketing partnerships with brands and agencies.

A key player on the equalpride Brand Partnerships team, their core responsibilities will include carving out creative solutions and innovations across equalpride's full brand portfolio (Out, The Advocate, Out Traveler, Health Plus, The Advocate Channel). These include but are not limited to: content and products including Editorial, Social (EP O&O & RMC), Video, Experiential, and OTT.

With a talent for seeking out new formats, platforms and storylines, this individual is immersed in the digital media world in a way that allows them to consistently bring new solutions to the table, specifically designed to help grow the scope and quality of equalpride''s creative capabilities across the board in today's ultra fast-paced digital marketing landscape.Collaborate with sales and brand partnership leadership on creating year long tentpole and editorial sponsorships for sales go to marketing- including Pride, Out 100, Holiday, LGBTQ History month as well as day to day RFPsOversee and mentor a team of brand partnership managers from day to day with a full cycle of RFP to wrap up reports. Implement process and create a center of excellenceWriting: From a 360 campaign idea to a video treatment to writing pithy copy for a product, event, app, or other marketing initiative, they're an agile creative writer.Content Development: You're a media-agnostic creative who can ideate in terms of integrated advertising campaigns, short and long form content, experiential/events, and any and everything else. The world is truly your canvas.Competitive, Trend Hunting (Social) & Storytelling: Your social chops are on point - your friends turn to you for the latest and greatest of what's happening on the Internet and every existing and emerging platform.Innovation: You can think beyond content to break the mold and blur the lines between advertising, content, technology, interactive experiences... and beyond.Analysis: You're a creative and a strategist. You understand the value of insights and you can leverage these insights to create a unique story across any format.Create 360 programs across the brand portfolio, for a multitude of advertisersWork with sales team to create strategically sound communications ideasPresent concepts to clients as needed online and in personBrief internal teams on the creative vision for every projectQualifications

Minimum 5 years national advertising pre-sales or media planning experience-digital, mobile, programmatic, social media and events.Confident, passionate, and enthusiastic about selling equalpride brands and supporting the LGBTQ+ community, with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to business.Understand and discuss the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and intersectional representation.Strong, modern, conversational communication skills needed to present to major advertising agencies and clients.Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.Experienced team leaderProficiency with Microsoft Programs, MRI, comScore, Salesforce, Media Radar, all social platforms, Zoom, Google Meets, and Microsoft Teams.Independent, self-motivated, competitive, assertive personalityPersuasive communication skills : verbal, written, and presentation
