You will take an active role in shaping the quality of our UI Frameworks and SDKs that are used by internal and external developers. You will be deeply integrated with our development engineers, developing test plans, writing API qualifying test apps, and supporting design reviews. This role requires strong programming fundamentals to help develop in all phases of the release cycle. Responsibilities include defining and implementing the test cases, monitoring test results, bug filing, coordinating test qualification with cross-functional teams, and reporting. You should be able to identify gaps in the existing test coverage, recommend or add test cases to address them, and ensure they are resolved with a long-term perspective.Minimum QualificationsBS / MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 6+ years of equivalent experienceProficient in API test development and validation, and familiarity with iOS / iPadOS / MacOS app developmentExperience developing test frameworks and automation tests at a UI/non-UI levelsExcellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and toolsExposure to Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applicationsProficient working in Xcode environment and coding in Swift. Objective C is a bonusAbility to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintainedPreferred QualificationsProficiency in scripting languages such as Python preferred but not necessaryExperience developing test applications to validate APIs is a bonusExperience developing AR/VR applications or games is a bonusFamiliarity with game engines and platforms such as Unity, Unreal etc.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
