Corporate Communications Manager

to join our team in Denver, Colorado, reporting to our Director of Communications & Engagement.Job DescriptionIdentify and capitalize on opportunities to promote and represent Astroscale U.S. through internal and external communication.Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies, campaigns, and related content.Oversee the coordination and alignment of communications messages across multiple channels and for various audiences.Collaborate with the global Astroscale marketing and communications team to strengthen brand, elevate thought leadership, and promote employee culture.Draft and distribute media advisories, press releases, and pitches to secure coverage.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers to generate positive coverage for Astroscale U.S.Prepare interviewees for media interviews and public appearances.Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts, including media monitoring; provide regular reports and insights to management.Develop and manage internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged with the company's goals and activities.Produce internal newsletters, intranet updates, and employee announcements.Collaborate with the engagements lead on conference and event preparation and execution.Plan and execute events such as press conferences or all-hands meetings to communicate key messages and milestones.Serve as a member of the crisis communication team; manage and mitigate potential issues that could impact the company's reputation.Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies, to communicate Astroscale's mission and work.Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within the organization.Liaise with agencies and contractors as needed to support communication objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism, a related field, or equivalent experience.5-7 years of experience in corporate communications or an equivalent role.Exceptional writing, editing (AP style), and verbal communications skills.Experience drafting, pitching, and securing coverage for news releases, media advisories, and other media materials.Experience with managing media inquiries and preparing spokespeople for media interactions, including interviews, press conferences, and other engagements.Experience with internal communications and engagement.Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience with crisis communications.Passion for clear, concise communications, and the ability to convert technical, complex topics into simple language for various audiences.Experience analyzing data to track and optimize performance and assess audience trends.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency with digital communications tools such as Meltwater and Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.Knowledge of the aerospace industry is a plus.Additional informationSalary range: $100,000 - $115,000. The salary range represents the low and high end of the Astroscale U.S. Inc. salary range for this position.
