Job Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and implementing a marketing and communications strategy for the client.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the marketing efforts of the campus dining services with client organization to maximize sales and customer participation

Works with the client organization marketing personnel to create joint campaigns increasing market share and campus awareness

Coordinates local efforts with corporate merchandising and marketing initiatives

Plans and implements promotional efforts with vendors

Develops and updates marketing collateral for digital media screens including, but not limited to, promotional campaigns, guest-facing menus, and pop-up events

Ownership of social media channels' content creation and push notifications to drive employee engagement

Updating and maintaining cafe website

Recording/tracking promotional statistics and associated sales information

Ensures that the campus/corporate goals are achieved within an established budget

Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and social media

Strong interpersonal and customer/client skills

Dynamic individual who can captivate an audience

Proficient computer skills to include various computer programs, such as Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Canva, and the Internet

Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

BS degree in marketing or hospitality management or equivalent years of experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Marketing field.

Experience and/or knowledge of the Hospitality, Foodservice industries is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of public relations, merchandising and sales.
