We are growing our team and are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS), a software defined data platform that simplifies data storage and management operations by consolidating siloes of block, file, and object services into a single platform, with integrated cyber resilience and operational consistency across on-prem, edge, and public clouds. Nutanix Unified Storage is at the center of the company’s data strategy and aims to revolutionize customer’s storage experience, making data interaction and consumption effortless and secure. Nutanix Unified Storage is a high growth business, and this role is a great opportunity to be a key player in shaping our success.

About the Team

You will report to the Director of Product Marketing at Nutanix. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, with employees typically expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week. This setup allows for a good balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility. As for travel requirements, there are none associated with this role, offering you the convenience of focusing on your projects and tasks without having to factor in extensive travel commitments.

Your Role

In this role, as a subject matter expert you will use customer feedback, market research and competitive insights, to craft compelling and differentiated content and launch narratives for the Nutanix Unified Storage portfolio. You will drive Go-To-Market activities and partner closely with product, sales, engineering, and marketing teams to balance product goals, sales support, and marketing opportunities to achieve shared objectives.

Subject Matter Expert

Develop expertise about the storage portfolio, related industry landscape, and competitor trends to be a knowledge resource for internal teams (including sales and extended marketing teams).

Own the messaging framework for NUS, including value propositions, use cases, customer personas, and competitive analysis, to build deeply persuasive and differentiated messaging.

Be a recognized and respected spokesperson to represent NUS at customer briefings (EBX), webinars, conferences, and sales/partner enablement.

Think creatively and develop strategies to capture market share from legacy systems.

Lead the marketing work streams in support of key announcements and product launches.

Develop narrative for key news moments – industry events, partner conferences, analyst briefings, and .NEXT (Nutanix’s leading customer and partner conference)

Content Creation and Sales Enablement

Create and review content including blogs, white papers, solution briefs, analyst papers, infographics, videos, datasheets, web pages and TCO/ROI tools to ensure correct messaging, voice, and alignment with product capabilities.

Develop use case focused content to integrate offerings into marketing campaigns.

Develop and amplify best in class sales enablement tools and programs to reduce sales friction and improve sales readiness.

Maintain repository and tracking for NUS content – including owning the NUS intranet pages, tracking, and expanding the reach of our customer stories across various channels.

What You Will Bring

10+ years of product marketing experience in the datacenter and cloud storage market

Strong domain expertise in storage technologies such as File Storage (SMB, NFS), Object Storage (S3), modern storage constructs such as STaaS, Hybrid cloud storage, virtualization, and management/operations.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience), MBA preferred.

Humble team player with a bias for action and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.

Ability to think and work strategically, but also execute as an individual contributor.

You are a self-starter who takes the initiative, works with limited direction, and has experience with companies pursuing and undergoing rapid growth.

Proven track record in supporting worldwide sales teams meet revenue goals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong exec comms skills, and polished presentation abilities

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 124,480 and USD $ 247,800 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
