Join an award-winning marketing team on the CG TurboTax Referral & New Channels Team as a Senior Marketing Manager, where you will help craft the future of TurboTax and TurboTax Live! You will drive the development of the Referral and the New Channels Go To Market plans in a highly collaborative role to develop media strategies across Mobile, Video, CTV, WOM, Brand and Programmatic to deliver on fiscal year forecast targets for the new channels that launch this year! We’re looking for a forward thinking, self-starter, who has solid experience translating consumer insights into scalable marketing experiences. The Senior Marketing Manager will report to the Group Marketing Manager of Referral & New Channels, based in San Diego, CA.

Working in partnership with the Referral and New Channels TeamLeverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and channel analytics data to make investment recommendations across multiple online channels, create and present media plans, business forecasts and investment scenarios, ensuring agency and x-functional teams are briefed, have been provided business insights and season curves for GTM, and the resulting recommendations are assessed against business goals to ensure a winning strategyAccountable for agency deployment of media and creative plans across channels, providing guidance on targeting, spend targets, bidding strategy, and ensuring publisher deliverables are clearly prioritized, articulated and actioned by the x-functional team in partnership with Channel OpsProvide ongoing support across channels, and related work continuing to develop in-season plans and optimizations such as working with the creative team to identify creative insights that drive new creative opportunities and publisher innovation. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in driving projects in cross team coordination, campaign and creative launches, data and analytics requests, end of month budget reconciliation, and projects with outside vendors and agenciesResponsible for ownership of the Team workbooks to ensure team and agency stakeholders understand and execute media plans, related tech and creative, ongoing test plans, learnings and implications while ensuring all requests are prioritized with clear timelines and ownersDrive Analysis & Optimization for Referral & New ChannelsMonitor and track business results, report out insights regularly to senior leadership in season, provide media recommendations/actions, as well as track and input into learnings and implications for mid and end of season reportingDrive data driven-decision making that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics in campaign planningAnalyze performance to provide marketing insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value; Exceptional analytical capability, able to rapidly and independently arrive at campaign insights such as consumer behavior, audience segmentation, winning ad message themes, and successful call to action / landing page strategies.Transform performance results, customer behavior insights, and learnings into actionable strategy and planning, plus in-season optimization direction to media agencies to proactively suggest continual campaign performance improvement and drive a system of campaign excellenceOwn ongoing channel test plans documentation and test insight optimization recommendationsPartner with extended media teams to understand, input and deliver on portfolio & audience targeting opportunities (ie Investors, Self Employed)EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.
