The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for leading the development of Thermon's global communication strategy, with a specific focus on the development of our customer value propositions across our portfolio of solutions. The Senior Manager, Marketing collaborates with Thermon's senior leaders, product managers and the global sales organization to create an effective communications and brand management plan that highlights Thermon's leadership position in the global industrial process heating market. This role manages the corporate Marketing team.This position will report to: Senior Vice President, Global Business Units and will be based on-site out of our Austin corporate office located at 7171 Southwest Parkway, Austin, TX 78735.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include

Manage a team of 6 in the marketing department, employees located out of US, Canada, Netherlands.

Coordinate the announcement of new product releases with Product Management through Define, develop, and implement global and regional marketing and brand management programs that communicate customer value propositions across end-markets, geographies and solutions

Collaborates with sales leadership team to evaluate customers' needs and incorporate the feedback into the global marketing strategy

Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the global industrial process heating market, target audiences, products/solutions and competition to successfully communicate Thermon's competitive advantages

Enhance our external and internal storytelling ability through content, communications and engagement initiatives

Create core product messaging for Thermon's suite of solutions and ensure the consistency of this messaging across the world

Partner with sales and regional management to execute strategic growth initiatives

Monitor the effectiveness of the marketing strategy and identify new marketing areas, methods and tools to support organic business growth

Design marketing initiatives from concept to execution, including brand implementation, project schedules and training

Partner with the product management team to announce new product releases to internal and external groups by providing value proposition brand messaging and marketing proof points

Supervise our web and social channels including the Thermon website, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter

Develop and implement short- and long-term goals, plans and budgets for the global marketing program while monitoring their progress and evaluating their performance

Manage the marketing communication teams performance related to the execution of product launch communications, marketing campaign design, trade show strategy and content, web content and analytics, sales support, customer collateral, product training and electronic media

Partner with Senior Leadership and HR Team to address and improve internal communications, announcements, meetings, and initiatives to the Thermon employee population

Develop content for public distribution as well as in support of go-to-market efforts, including but not limited to: whitepapers, social media, videos, trade journal articles, podcasts, websites, displays and models, virtual reality tools, etc.

Manage regional external communications and public relations efforts, including the handling of local agencies and positioning the company's leadership in events, associations, and relevant media channels.

Responsible to develop and oversee the annual marketing budgets for marketing department.

Other as assigned by management.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Program Management, or Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and marketing communications in industrial, energy, engineering, or construction industries.

At least 5 years in a management role leading a marketing and communications team.

Proven track record of designing and executing successful marketing communications campaigns

Track record of partnering with product management to drive successful marketing campaigns for product launches

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools including the use of analytics and tactics

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape

Able and Ability to work in an international environment that involves collaboration with internal and external parties across different countries and time zones.
