Seasonal Production Designer, Packaging Design

will support all aspects of production, ensuring that the creative concept passed from the design team is executed to brand standards. They will work in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders to track, process and release complete/accurate art files to vendors resulting in quality deliverables for Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids.This position is a 3 day/week hybrid based out of our Northbrook, IllinoisA day in the life as a Seasonal Production Designer, Packaging Design…Support Creative Brand Team with production designCreate and/or prepare files for print under the direction of Band Design team leadsCollaborate with Design Team to make physical and/or digital mockups for presentationsImplement new procedures, when requiredManage project schedules and provide status updates, when necessaryCollaborate with designers and print buyers to achieve sustainability goalsSupport all efforts and initiatives across brand channelsWhat you’ll bring to the table…Possess strong typography skills and understanding of brand guidelinesBasic knowledge of color correction and print processes to review and edit color proofsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to handle multiple projects at oncePossess strong interpersonal skillsAbility to problem-solve creativelyWe’d love to hear from you if you have…Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples of social and/or digital campaigns2 years previous related work experience in graphic or production designLove and mastery of Typography is requiredBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related fieldProficient in macOS platform and software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesignProficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Experience with project management software - Workfront, Asana, etc - a plus#li-hybrid
