Although we are located at Normandy Farm, we also cater to floral event sales & design for the surrounding counties for off-site events.
Job Description
This is a part-time position for a Floral Sales & Design Consultant. The individual will work in tandem with all members of our team to sell and produce top-notch event floral and decor for a variety of social, non-profit, and corporate clients. The individual should be passionate and enthusiastic about floral design and sales.
We are open to discussing the flexibility of hours on a part-time, full-time, and seasonal basis.

Floral Sales and Customer AppointmentsActively pursuing new leads and sales relationshipsSupporting the broader sales leadership and team initiativesPhone & in-person consultationsResponding to customer web/social inquiriesFloral Recipe Creation, Developing quotes and proposalsWriting Contracts and following up to secure businessTrade show/Exhibit StaffingLead tracking and developmentSales follow-upVenue RelationshipsJob responsibilities and goals will be refined based on the aptitudes and interests of the applicant as well as company needs.

Experience with floral sales and design within the event industryExperience developing sales proposals and quotesExperience crafting floral recipesStrong on-trend aesthetic; Best-in-class creativityExpert knowledge of floral design, flower varieties, and product careAbility to sell across market segments to social events, weddings, corporate clients, and non-profitsAbility to conceptualize a design for an event that will meet the client's vision and budget while best utilizing our services and productsAn autonomous worker with decision-making and problem-solving skillsDedicated team-oriented individual who is enthusiastic and excited about helping to elevate a company to the next levelExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to network and foster relationshipsFlexible individual with a passion for the event industry and salesInterest in event and floral trendsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding and excitement surrounding the small business cultureAbility to lift and move items, up to 50 lbs.Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
Floral & Event Design experiencePrevious related experience.
