Description and Requirements

The eCommerce Product Marketing Associate Specialist will be responsible for optimizing the online product assortment, managing pricing, creating and implementing promotional campaigns, and driving software sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, consumer behavior, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy:

Develop and implement pricing strategies for software products to maximize profitability and market share.

Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

Conduct regular pricing analysis and provide recommendations for adjustments.

Promotions and Offers:

Plan, create, and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Analyze the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies to optimize performance.

Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive and attractive promotional content.

Product Assortment:

Work with the Software Portfolio Managers to manage and optimize the online product assortment to meet customer demand and maximize sales.

Work with the product development team to identify new product opportunities and ensure timely product launches.

Conduct regular assortment reviews to ensure a competitive and appealing product range.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

Monitor sales performance and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Provide regular reports and insights to the ecommerce team and senior management.

Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Customer Experience:

Collaborate with the eCommerce UI/UX Team to ensure a seamless and user-friendly software shopping experience on the ecommerce platform.

Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer journey and increase retention.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, and customer service.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategies and objectives.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, pricing, or a related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.

Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of the software industry is a plus.
