Are you an enthusiastic and talented music teacher with a strong background in working with children? Mister Boom Boom's Play Patrol, a music education business based in Philadelphia, is looking for a part-time Senior Music Instructor in the Allentown region. We provide music programs to preschools and child care centers throughout PA, NJ, DE, and MD.
As a part-time music teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with children birth to 6 years old, delivering engaging music programs to child care centers on a weekly or biweekly basis. You will work up to 25 hours every week (teach up to 15 hours and work up to 10 administrative hours). This position is perfect for someone who teaches instrument or voice lessons in the afternoons and is looking to earn extra income in the mornings.
If you are comfortable singing and proficient in playing guitar or percussion, knowledgeable in children's songs, and experienced in facilitating music classes for early education or grades K-5, we want to hear from you. Candidates must have a driver's license, their own vehicle, and be able to travel within 50 miles of Allentown. A degree in music, education, or a related field is preferred, and proficiency in a language other than English is a plus.
We are a mobile music program that travels to our clients. You must be comfortable driving to clients weekday mornings.
