The consumer growth marketing team is focused on building and nurturing our consumer base by building a relationship with our consumer and providing them with an engaging and relevant cross-channel experience. The consumer growth marketing team at DoorDash is growing rapidly and it is expected this person will be a leader on the team, help develop our marketing approach, and grow their career as the team expands.
About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven performance marketer with strong knowledge of offline and online media, and optimization to join our Consumer Growth Marketing team. This role will offer you the opportunity to have an immediate impact by managing media and creative optimization for all "offline" media channels. You'll be at the forefront of leading analysis, solving complex problems, and making strategic recommendations to drive the business forward. As a key team member on the Offline Marketing Team, you'll be responsible for overseeing performance measurement and optimization across the following channels (TV, OTT, Audio, OOH etc). You will also be responsible to monitor and provide recommendations for all offline associated digital marketing such as: Programmatic Video, Streaming Audio, Podcasts, YouTube, etc. You will be responsible for figuring out how to deploy our paid media budget across these channels and optimize the media mix to our success metrics.

In this role you will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other DoorDash teams (including the Martech, Analytics, Creative and Product teams) and as well as with our agency partners to test and implement new marketing strategies and optimization best practices. You'll work very closely with our Analytics team to build tools & dashboarding to better analyze, measure and optimize campaign performance.

  • Drive our understanding of the impact of more than 30% of our media investment, ensuring we are implementing learnings across both brand and performance objectives
  • Build and manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, new channel launches and brand lift tests
  • Work closely with agencies and in-house teams to optimize media buying in an effort to hit aggressive growth targets in a cost-effective manner
  • Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities
  • Test new channel/product features to identify incremental audiences and inventory for accelerating growth
  • Collaborate and partner with other teams and stakeholders to ensure goals are met

You are results-oriented with demonstrated analyzing and optimizing large budgets across media channels. You are highly analytical and count A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance among your core competencies. You are creative and collaborative and work well with teams to tackle challenging problems. Most importantly, you are eager to roll up your sleeves to find opportunities and efficiencies in a fast-moving company at the forefront of on-demand delivery. Also, you probably love delivery!
  • Strong experience working with (or at) offline measurement tools (examples: Data+Math, iSpot, Kantar, Lucid, Dynata, Nielsen, Comscore, UpWave, YouGov, Numerator, Vivix, etc.), with experience building and managing measurement programs including interactions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make decisions
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and the nuances of managing media with limited data signals based on today's privacy environment.
  • Experience in advertising effectiveness analysis, marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution and ROI measurement
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data processing scripts - required
  • Experience with offline marketing channels such as; TV, Print, OOH, Experiential, Partnerships, and associated online channels such as; OTT, CTV, DRTV, Podcasts, & Display
  • Financial operations understanding and application of using media mix modeling to make financial decisions
  • You are proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing
  • You have attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives
  • Understanding of mass media, brand strategy, or event planning and discrete, measurable targets
  • Analytically-minded, structured thinker - you get excited when insights jump out of the data and consider analyzing campaign performance among your core competencies
  • Strategic and business-minded - you find trends in your data and look for the "so what"
  • Creative and collaborative - you love working with a team and creatively solving challenging problems
  • Bias to action to achieve success in a fast moving environment
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution
  • Experience working on multi-sided marketplace businesses (preferred)
  • A BA/BS degree and 7+ years of related performance marketing or data analytics experience
  • Applied mathematics, statistics, or econometrics education or relevant background
Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

Colorado Pay Range:

$126,000-$189,000 USD

California Pay Range:

$133,000-$210,000 USD

New York Pay Range:

$140,000-$210,000 USD
