Event Marketing Manager

to join our dynamic team and help us elevate our brand presence through strategic event planning and execution. The Event Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing in person and digital event marketing strategies, as well as distributor enablement. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with territory sales teams, manage national trade shows, and webinars as well as regional trainings and sponsorships ensuring maximum ROI from all events.What You'll Do:Trade Shows, Trainings, and Sponsorship Management:Event Management : Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of national trade shows, trainings, and sponsorships, ensuring all logistical and strategic aspects are effectively coordinated. Manage costs and expenses to ensure all events stay within budget while maximizing ROI and achieving desired outcomes. Implement effective cost and expense management strategies to monitor and control spending throughout the event planning and execution process.Event Evaluation and Research:

Conduct thorough research and analysis of national events using a data-driven strategy to create a well-rounded and effective event calendar that aligns with company goals.Pre-Event Planning:

Establish clear and measurable goals and objectives, develop detailed co-marketing plans and promotional activities, and ensure thorough and consistent internal communication to align all teams involved.Event Preparation:

Efficiently pack and stage all necessary materials in advance for events, optimizing logistics to save on shipping and drayage costs, and ensuring that everything is ready for smooth execution.Event Execution and Engagement : Take charge of managing the overall event experience, ensuring that it meets or exceeds planned expectations. Generate social media hype to maximize engagement and lead generation, creating a dynamic and interactive event atmosphere.Post-Event Follow-Up:

Compile comprehensive attendee summaries, detailed debrief reports, and actionable recommendations. Report on goal achievements, ensure all leads are accurately added to the CRM, and coordinate targeted marketing and sales follow-up activities to maximize ROI.Annual Major Conference Management:Event Ownership:

Owns the planning and execution of the annual conference, ensuring seamless operation and partnering with the sales team to maximize attendance and engagement.Goal Setting:

Establish clear objectives for event attendance, schedule of sales and partner meetings, and overall event outcomes to drive success.Promotion:

Create and distribute engaging eblasts and event invitations and develop a comprehensive social media strategy to boost visibility and engagement before, during, and after the event.Event Evaluation:

Assess the conference's effectiveness for future sponsorship, branding, and exhibiting prospects. Leverage and utilize industry media for public relations efforts and conduct thorough competitor marketing analysis.Post-Event Analysis:

Deliver detailed reports on attendee demographics, provide actionable recommendations, document lessons learned, evaluate goal attainment, and facilitate lead follow-up to ensure ongoing engagement and conversion.Distributor Marketing and Support:Distributor Enablement:

Develop and implement initial marketing strategies tailored for the top 15 distributors across all locations, focusing on enhancing their market presence and performance.Onsite Branding Support:

Work closely with territory sales teams to deliver comprehensive branding support at each distributor location, including will call signage, product samples, marketing literature, and promotional displays.Marketing Point of Contact (POC):

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributor marketing teams and executives to secure valuable backlinks, boost brand exposure, and ensure top-tier (Tier 1) engagement.CRM Management:

Oversee and coordinate with the sales team to conduct proactive reviews, updates, and maintenance of CRM contacts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Training:

Collaborate across departments to provide educational opportunities for distributor staff, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to represent the brand effectively.Onsite Branding Inventory Management:

Establish and manage a standardized inventory of branding materials (signs, samples, displays, mats, etc.), customizing the assortment based on specific needs of each distributor location.Referral Program:

Create and implement a web-based referral program to enhance link-building efforts with distributors, installers, and industry partners, thereby increasing brand visibility and network reach.Webinar Management and Optimization:Calendar Management:

Coordinate across the organization to establish a comprehensive webinar calendar, identifying key topics and assigning content owners to ensure a diverse and relevant schedule.Pre-Event Planning:

Define objectives and develop a detailed co-marketing and promotional plan to maximize attendance and engagement.Registration Management:

Create and manage registration forms using a marketing automation tool, incorporating automated reminders to increase participation and reduce no-shows.On-Demand Content:

Launch and promote on-demand webinars to make the most of evergreen content, providing valuable resources for ongoing audience engagement.Deck Support:

Review and refine presentation decks, including text, design, and imagery, while coordinating graphic support to enhance visual appeal and clarity.Webinar Production:

Serve as the live event moderator, ensuring smooth execution, and edit recordings to optimize them for on-demand viewing.Content Leverage:

Partner with the marketing team to integrate webinars into nurture tracks and campaigns, maximizing their impact and value across marketing efforts. Identify key areas of opportunity and make appropriate recommendations for shift in strategy.Technology Management:

Research and select the most suitable technology platform to meet the company's webinar needs, ensuring a seamless experience. Manage the chosen platform and make necessary updates to ensure its optimal performance and relevance.Promotional Tools:

Collaborate with various teams to create and distribute promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, newsletters, and eblasts, to effectively drive webinar attendance and engagement. Research and provide cost-effective supplies and solutions to maximize the impact and reach of promotional efforts.Promotional Assets Management:Promotional Giveaway Management:

Execute scalable branded giveaway plans, including managing inventory, conducting vendor research, obtaining competitive quotes, and ensuring timely fulfillment to support promotional activities.Promotional Items:

Oversee the management of trade show giveaways, sales incentives, factory and warehouse wearables, and holiday gifts, ensuring alignment with brand standards and promotional objectives.Printing and Signage:

Oversee the printing and distribution of sales collateral, color sheets, event signage, and other printed promotional materials, ensuring high quality and timely delivery to effectively support marketing and sales initiatives.Who You Are:Education & Licensing:

BS or BA degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related major is required.Years of Experience:

10+ years in B2B event marketing with proven success in managing small and large-scale events. Experience with distributor channels and engagement programs preferred.Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation tools to manage event-related data and campaigns efficiently.Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical abilities to evaluate event performance and return on investment (ROI) for continuous improvement.Communication & Organizational Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.Collaborative Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve event objectives and enhance overall event marketing strategies.What You Will Earn:Annual Salary:

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000, DOE.Profit-Sharing:
