Join us and let your design skills leave a lasting impression on our brand and the industry!Core Responsibilities:Develop graphic design strategies based on thorough research, deep understanding of HBC's brand and client business goals, and insights into what motivates specific target audiences.Collaborate closely with team members across departments to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of designs, facilitating regular design reviews and feedback sessions.Actively partner with Client Services, Product, and Sales teams to craft innovative marketing materials for go-to-market strategies that are informed by current market trends and customer insights.Rapidly support and contribute to the creation of diverse content, including editorial materials and social media campaigns, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and audience engagement strategies.Further ongoing evolution of our brand by developing and updating guidelines, maintaining asset libraries, and ensuring all design elements are cohesive and aligned with the latest brand strategy.Ensure all design outputs are user-friendly, consistent with brand identity, and fully functional across different platforms and devices, conducting rigorous pre-launch testing.Manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects across various mediums, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to deadlines without compromising design quality.Own the design process from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring seamless handoffs and clear communication at each stage of design development, with detailed documentation and guidelines for all stakeholders.Continuously engage in ongoing professional development to improve personal design skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.Design with a consideration for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that all content is approachable and usable for a diverse audience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSThe following is required to be considered for this role:Bachelor's degree OR 4 years professional design experiencePortfolio examples of design for content and advertising

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSoftware Proficiency: Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and adaptable to new technologies and platforms such as Figma, Klaviyo, Workamajig/Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.Design Skills and Aesthetics: Exceptional eye for detail with a strong visual aesthetic; knowledgeable in best practice standards for both print and digital design.Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, both written and oral; capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional team members including Creative, Marketing, ProductDevelopment, and Client Strategy business partners.Problem Solving and Project Management: Ability to creatively solve problems, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.Personal Attributes: Highly organized, flexible, and adaptable; able to thrive in ambiguous situations and maintain productivity when working independently.Continuous Learning and Innovation: Constant learner with strong ideation and conceptual skills, continually seeking out new challenges and evolving design contributions to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
