Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Creative ServicesSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The marketing operations coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing staff support for the marketing communications and strategy division. The office coordinator is the first point of contact for the department and must possess excellent communication skills for daily interactions with internal and external customers, including executives, directors, co-workers, as well as outside vendors. This role must be very proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

This position will oversee the flow of projects coming into the marketing communications department. This includes assigning projects to the correct team member and ensuring projects are completed on time by managing processes through the department’s project management systems. The marketing operations coordinator will work with division leadership to ensure necessary resources are allocated to complete projects in order to keep everything running smoothly and provide internal client satisfaction.

The marketing operations coordinator will also provide administrative support to the division directors including meeting scheduling and other duties as assigned.

This position will support internal and external communication strategies, serving as support for proofreading pieces that are professionally printed or digitally displayed. The marketing operations coordinator will also support special events, including the events for the board of trustees, professional staff, employees and other hospital/community-wide events and initiatives. He/she will also serve in an office support function for the team, answering the phone, creating the on-call schedule, supply ordering, approving timesheets, assisting with scheduling appointments for the team, etc.

The marketing operations coordinator collaborates with all divisions and levels of the organization and with stakeholders including board members, senior leaders, staff, physicians, patient families and media.

High School Diploma required

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

1-2 years required

3-4 years preferred

Skills/Competencies

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
