Karen Kane is a well-established apparel brand that has been manufacturing women’s apparel for nearly 45 years. We're a certified B Corp brand and have experienced rapid growth in recent years through ecommerce while continuing to have successful long-lasting relationships with major stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. From our start, our company has remained family-run and privately owned.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound sales, as well as building and maintaining a strong and consistent brand through both online and offline marketing channels. The ideal candidate for this role will also be passionate for fashion and knowledgeable about the trends and seasonality of the apparel industry. This position is based on-site at our office in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

Assist in deploying successful digital marketing campaigns (paid search, paid social, email, affiliate marketing, etc.), as well as help provide ideas and manage implementation from ideation to execution

Help strategically plan our marketing approach upon a constantly changing inventory position of products and brand initiatives

Work with team to review and approve ad content/material for digital media - no matter what channel it is deployed through

Work hand-in-hand with our Customer Service team to create a seamless online experience for our customers

Research new ecommerce solutions and companies offering initiatives to solve problems our customers are facing

Help in issuing purchase orders and insertion orders for all relevant marketing and PR expenses

Assist in managing company website content and SEO strategies (including creation of copy, photography, and video)

Work with our third-party agencies to implement email, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and paid social strategies

Manage content for 2 brands' Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts

Coordinate website updates with our Ecommerce team

Qualifications:

2-4 years of overall marketing experience, with strong knowledge of digital marketing

Knowledge and interest in fashion & apparel

Great organizational skills

Comfort and adaptability to work individually, as well as in team settings

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe suites

Knowledge of Shopify, Trello, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, MailChimp are a plus

Strong knowledge/comfort level with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media channels

Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment

Graphic design experience is a plus
