We’re seeking a professional Director, Product Designer to join our client’s team here in New York, NY. The client is a leading non-profit for digital rights of artists and entertainers. They have a rich history of over 100 years of working with the world’s best talent bringing millions upon millions of people access to content that is seen, heard, and experienced. The right candidate for the job will have at least 5+ years working in a design-focused role in a corporate environment. You will work on projects from start to finish and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver the best possible experience for our users. Only candidates local to New York City and able to be onsite 3x per week will be contacted and considered.

New York City – Manhattan (Hybrid)Responsibilities:Work in collaboration across teams to take new ideas from concepts to implementation.Work across teams to develop strategic design plans and projected timelines.Management and ongoing improvements of the current design request process.Lead, coach, mentor, and problem-solve the creative vision and standard of output across the design team.Identify new opportunities for innovation and differentiation for products, including mobile and web applications.Collaborate with product leads and identify user testing; leverage usability test results to help inform the final functionality/implementation.Key decision maker for recommended usability testing models, such as guerrilla testing, card sorting, etc.Required Technology and Skills:5+ years as a senior-level designer and 3+ years of managerial experience.Experience applying brand identity systems, typography, photography, color, etc.Experience using Figma for collaboration, prototyping, and user testing.Experience designing mobile web and native applications.Experience working on usability testing and storytelling aspects of the user experience.Compensation:
