We’re seeking a professional Director, Product Designer to join our client’s team here in New York, NY. The client is a leading non-profit for digital rights of artists and entertainers. They have a rich history of over 100 years or working with the world’s best talent bringing millions upon millions of people access to content that is seen, heard, and experienced. The right candidate for the job will have at least 5 + working in a design focused role in a corporate environment. You will work on projects from start to finish, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, product managers and engineers to deliver the best possible experience for our users. Only candidates local to New York City and able to be onsite 3x per week will be contacted and considered.

Work in collaboration cross-teams to take new ideas from concepts to implementation
Wok Cross-teams to develop strategic design plans and projected timelines
Management and ongoing improvements of the currentdesign requestprocess
Lead, Coach, Mentor and problem solve the creative vision and standard of output across the design team
Identify new opportunities for innovation and differentiation for products; including mobile and web application
Collaboratewith Product leads and identify user testingand leverage usability test results to help inform the final functionality/implementation
Key decision maker for recommended usability testing models, such as guerilla, card sorting, testing, etc.
Required Technology and Skills:
5 + as Senior level Designer and 3+ of managerial experience
Experience applying brand identity systems, typography, photography, color, etc.
Experience using Figma for collaboration, prototyping, and user testing.
Experience designing mobile web and native applications.
Experience working on usability testing, and storytelling aspects of the user experience.
