WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a key member of BCG’s Global IT UX Center of Expertise (CoE), you will design the user experience for the firm's Gen AI portfolio. Your work will drive the creation of virtual assistants and large language models (LLMs) across the consulting case team lifecycle, leveraging Gen AI technologies to enhance productivity and provide a distinctive advantage for BCG’s clients. We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing intuitive and engaging AI-driven products. You will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience (UX) and interface (UI) of our Gen AI products, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our clients' needs.

YOU'RE GOOD ATKey responsibilities: User Research & Analysis:

Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform design decisions.

Design Development:

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that illustrate design concepts.

Develop design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.

Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions from product discovery through MVP to scale.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical constraints.

Testing & Iteration:

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to enhance the user experience.

Innovation & Trends:

Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly in AI and software development.

Advocate for and implement best practices in user-centered design. YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Experience and qualifications Expertise in mixed methods across generative and evaluative research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing using tools such as Qualtrics, Dovetail, Maze, and Usertesting.com.

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Suite.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Excellent visual design UI skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Deep expertise in design systems and atomic design principles, working with UX patterns and component-based libraries.

Comprehensive understanding of usability and accessibility standards across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, preferably in a consultancy, agency, or technology-driven environment.

Proven experience designing AI-driven or software products from POC to MVP for multi-region deployment and rollout.

Comfortable leading UX workstreams in large global teams across multiple time zones, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders.

Proficient in operating across all stages of the design lifecycle from product discovery through to delivery.

Practical knowledge of working within a product software development team with a deep understanding of agile, scrum, and design thinking.

Experience leading and managing designers, mentoring individuals, and cultivating an environment that fosters experimentation.
