Key Responsibilities

As the Sr. Marketing Manager, Global Alliance Partner marketing, you are responsible for leading a team of global alliance partner marketers to develop global, joint B2B marketing plans with key alliance partners.

In this role, you will lead and collaborate with your team to develop strategic joint marketing plans with each partner. The strategy will be enabled and activated in Geography through Market Development Funds (“MDF”) investments to drive alliance-specific marketing pipeline and marketing win revenue.

Additionally, this role will lead the evolution of the ISG Global Alliance partner marketing function to expand the alliance marketing function to include other strategic ISG relationships.

Overview of role

Lead and partner with your team to define the global, strategic co-marketing plan with each partner by integrating shared priorities within the ISG marketing and sales learning strategic plans

Collaborate with internal marketing teams to integrate partnership initiatives into broader marketing strategies.

Define the alliance participation within ISG global B2B campaigns and global events

Ensure the HQ-developed plan is enabled for geo activation to include:

Co-branded campaigns, content creation and branding compliance

Ensure impactful joint marketing launch plans (in partnership with ISG Solutions Marketing, HQ Comms focals and HQ Product segment teams)

Define and align the MDF investment strategy with external partner stakeholders

Maximize the ISG marketing utilization of and compliance with alliance MDF

Lead the strategy and expansion into new global co-marketing relationships (

Define the business case to support co-marketing expansion with other strategic relationships

Define the co-marketing strategy and execution priorities by partner type

In this role, you will coach and develop your team to build their skills in the following areas:

Strategic thinking and planning

Preparation for and leading executive presentations (including external marketing reviews, marketing performance dashboards)

Influencing extended colleagues in a matrix

Budget acumen (investment strategy, in quarter management, POE deadline achievement)

Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partner and agency organizations.

Close collaboration with internal relationships in a matrixed org (Solutions Marketing, Product / Segment leads, Channel Marketing, ISG Communications, ISG Sales Learning, Geo Marketing)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in B2B marketing, communications or related field

5+ years of people management experience

8+ years of partner marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong B2B Campaign Management – recent experience developing and managing B2B Partner Marketing campaigns, programs, platforms, content creation, nurture strategies, agency management

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills

Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple programs at one time

Exceptional Project Management - organizational skills with an ability to prioritize independently, and delegate tasks when appropriate.

Ability to manage budgets / Excel spreadsheets

Aptitude for engaging across multiple teams and internal/external stakeholders to drive efficiency and optimum outcomes

Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel
