Your Role

As a Gensler

Designer , you will tap into your boundless creativity and passion for design to produce unique and functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You are a self-motivated, team player who is ready for active participation in all phases of the design process. With you as part of the design team, interiors have never been so engaging.

What You Will DoUtilize your experience to assist all phases of Interiors project deliverables from Concept Design through Construction Administration to realize a successful design conceptWork independently or with minor oversight to perform assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentationProduce mood, material and design presentations independently or with minimal supervisionProduce furniture plans, specifications, material selections and schedules needed for construction documentation independently or with minimal supervisionParticipate in client and consultant meetingsEffectively communicate design ideas by hand sketching and/or digital graphicsUtilize knowledge of furniture and technology, and custom furniture and lighting solutions, finishes, materials, color selections, and ID specificationsIndependently create material palettes and inspiration image boardsCarries out design assignments by helping to develop new or improved techniquesYour Qualifications

Experience in the role described above, with specific demonstrated experience in workplace fixtures, furniture and equipmentHigh resourcefulness of creative unique materials, furniture and fixturesBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA or NCARB accredited school1-3 years post-graduate experienceMust be highly proficient in Sketch-Up, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and BluebeamIntermediate proficiency in Revit and Enscape requiredAdvanced 3D visualization software skills essentialExcellent color sense, and great passion for designExcellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skillsPassionate, self-starting, dedicated, efficientEnjoys both taking responsibility and team collaborationDetailed understanding of FFE design and deliverablesPassion for both the big picture design ideas and the detailsFacility with 3D conceptualization required

**The base salary range will be estimated between $68,000-$75,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
