Our Client

is seeking a talented Interaction Designer to join a team and contribute to the growth initiatives of one of our clients products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Management (PM) and Engineering (Eng) teams to execute growth initiatives and roadmap. They will also propose and respond to UX research and product analytics, work within engineering constraints, and advance the products metrics. Design solutions will span across platforms (web, mobile) and seamlessly integrate with other Workspace products.

Job Responsibilities:Design and Development:

Create user journeys, mockups, prototypes, detailed specifications, and presentations to effectively convey interaction and design ideas to cross-functional teams. Develop design concepts that span across web and mobile platforms and integrate seamlessly with other Workspace products such as Docs, Slides, Sheets, Meet, and Gmail.Collaboration:

Partner closely with UX researchers to establish user needs, test and validate design concepts, and identify areas of opportunity for product improvement. Coordinate with product and engineering partners to define product visions and gain stakeholder and leadership buy-in.Execution:

Execute tasks within broader project scopes under general guidance from managers, team leads, or senior designers. Select appropriate design methods, tools, and processes to address technical challenges and apply UX writing and content design frameworks for user experiences.Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with engineering during implementation, conduct bug bashes, and ensure product excellence at each launch phase. Maintain product quality and consistency through iterative design improvements based on testing and stakeholder input.Influence and Advocacy:

Influence project, program, or product decisions by supporting senior decision-makers through workshops and presentations. Advocate for UX design by communicating design approaches to other designers or partners and contributing to design systems or languages.Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design-related or adjacent fields, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the UX industry.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in UX Design, Interaction Design, Wireframing, UX Tools, Prototyping, and Human-Computer Interaction. Experience designing for Android and iOS application development, and proficiency with industry-standard tools like Figma.Collaboration and Communication:

Experience partnering with User Research, Product Management, and Engineering peers to deliver user-centered design solutions. Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale effectively, and strong presentation skills for content and audience engagement.Design Excellence:

Excellent core interaction design skills, knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, and aesthetic sensibility to make design decisions that enhance product appeal. Craftsmanship to ensure a coherent product, platform, or user experience.Additional Skills:

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development is preferred. Knowledge of accessibility best practices and technologies, experience with design thinking, running UX sprints and workshops, and experience with component-based design systems are also advantageous.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $53.47 to $59.41 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
