Title: User Experience Designer IIIPayrate range: $70 - $75/hr. on W2.Location: RemoteDuration: 6 months contract with possible extension
Description:As the User Experience Designer, you will be bringing experiential concepts to life from planning all the way through development handoff.The Mobile App Growth Strategy team is focused on deepening customer relationships by building best-in-class omnichannel mobile app experiences, with a focus on driving app adoption and elevating experiences to drive engagement with the app. As a UX Designer on this team, you will own creating and delivering design against the vision, strategy, and tactics for driving Best Buy consumer app downloads and for building iOS and Android app experiences that significantly improve the value proposition for engaging with Best Buy through the mobile app. You will partner with stakeholders across our technology, marketing, retail, operations, loyalty, ecommerce, CRM, and merchant teams to help solve real customer problems and drive business results.What You'll Do
Craft and drive complex solutions through design applicationsBreak down business, product, technology, and user need and translate them into tangible digital experiencesMaintain consistent communication with the User Experience Design Manager and external partners on your design strategy and execution planCollaborate with external XD teams while understanding the impact of your design in various contextsCreate and ground your design execution in insights, design strategy, and understanding of the user journeyParticipate in design team formalities that may include design reviews and/or case study presentationsArticulate your design through digital prototyping toolsConsider your design in various settings, including platform, screen resolution, user needs, time, and locationExplore the right tools for the right jobEnsure your work starts with industry best practices, meets Best Buy contexts, and is compliant with WCAG accessibility requirementsPreferred Qualifications
7 or more years of experience in delivering digital UX solutionsProficiency working in an Agile setting with supporting tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceInteractive and micro animation design experiencesMobile application design experiencesProficiency in fundamental design applications: MIRO, Figma, After EffectsMicrosoft Office Suite proficiencyAbout our department:Our department is a team of 8, diverse in background, and location.
