Senior Interior Designer in Boulder, COKari Whitman Interiors in Boulder, CO is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with strong interior design, AutoCAD and project management skills and experience in high-end commercial or residential design.As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be involved in all phases of our projects to support our clients. a strong passion for design and excitement about the creative process is essential for this role. You should be highly proficient in AutoCAD and Google Drive, should feel confident in your abilities to create boards, drawings, and FFE's, and should be comfortable serving as a liaison with vendors and subcontractors.This is NOT a remote position-We have a collaborative environment and work together in the office in Boulder, CO (Must be willing to relocate if not local)Duties of Senior Interior Designer :Handling general design responsibilities like creating boards, drawings, FFE's, etcSome general office operations, including phones, filing, and running errands as neededManaging client budgets and all ordering (specifications, purchase orders, shipping, etc.)Serving as primary liaison with vendors & sub-contractorsManaging and having thorough knowledge of all items within client files like specifications, meeting notes, etc.Requirements of Senior Interior Designer :A degree in architectureExtremely strong AutoCAD skills- this is non-negotiable and we do require an in-depth AutoCAD assessment prior to an offer.Strong excel skills5+ years of experience working in architectural designSelf-driven worth ethic and the ability to follow through with pending items, including anticipating questions and creating solutionsStrong organizational skills- including efficiencyAbility to self-motivate and work independentlyDiscretion with confidential client and business informationMUST have own laptop and vehicleMUST be willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% travel may be required)MUST love dogs and be comfortable working in a dog-friendly officeCompensation for Senior Interior Designer:$60,000-$85,000/year to startSalary commensurate with experience.
