Audio Visual Hotel Sales Opportunities: Sales Director, Sales Coordinator

AVmedia is excited to announce a new partnership with a hotel in the Western Suburbs of Downtown Chicago!
We are seeking talented audio-visual folks with sales experience ranging from intermediate to advanced.
Positions include Sales Director and Sales Coordinator.
In-person interviews to be held within the week of August 25th. Prescreening interviews begin

RESPONSIBILITIES (GENERAL)
Being a great representative of the AVmedia Family Culture.Speaking with customers, teammates, and hoteliers in a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.Making sales calls, attending BEO, site and other planning meetings to close business and grow revenues and profitability.Upselling all equipment, labor, and creative services with every opportunity.Sets examples for staff in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, customer service and leadership skills, and work habits.Maintain high level of customer service with staff to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.Documenting activities daily based on hotel or event site protocol.Seeking out ways to improve the operation to include service and financial results.Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being always a role model. Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible.Requirements
(PREFERRED)
Basic knowledge of AV (flipcharts, microphones, laptops, breakout projection, screens, static lighting, audio mixers, and speakers, etc)Knowledge of intelligent lighting, networking, advanced switching, HD, laser projection a plus.Qualifications: The candidate should have live event hotel experience, preferably in a sales or operations role but not required.Ability to kick-off rooms as needed.
