We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office, currently located at 610 E. Gish Rd. San Jose and limited job-related travel may be required.

Position

Summary:

GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing to provide support to one or more facilities. This role’s main function will be to align, manage and develop the Company’s sales team and execute a strategic sales plan to generate revenue.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities, optimize current sales initiatives, and implement revenue generating pricing strategies across the various lines of business.Present the sales and marketing plans to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.Enhance brand visibility through digital marketing, social media and other channels.Oversee and manage the sales and marketing team. Develop objectives and policies for the department. Implement and maintain measurable performance standards and quotas.Collaborate with General Managers to ensure alignment between the sales/marketing team and operational goals.Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.Conduct market research and maintain knowledge of industry trends.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment and communicate to ensure safety.Understand and acknowledge operational needs, employee needs, and safety requirements.Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while coping with challenging situations and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information systems and technology information into an organized and presentable manner.Ability to encourage and promote participation and buy in into safety protocols, policies, and best practices.Ability to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or may accept an equivalent level of education and experience as substitute for degree.A minimum of 10 years sales and marketing experience.Strong organizational skills and strategic planning.Experience managing teams.Ability to travel within California up to 60% of the time.Language Skill:

Proficiency in EnglishPhysical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Travel within California required up to 60% of the time.

Work Environment:

Typical work week is Monday through Friday. Occasional off-site meetings, early morning, and late evening meetings as needed; flexibility needed due to the nature of the industry. Might be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and odors/smells. Ability to work in setting where constant changes may occur and communicating with various employees of various levels and personalities is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits:
