Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:A talented digital designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, for various digital campaigns and other digital media. An ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverables. Collaborating with Brand and Media partners, the Digital Designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding/marketing and production, and be able to apply the right style and layout for all digital marketing.
OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:• Work on a wide range of projects, creating innovative designs that meet business goals• Create unique digital designs and input changes as requested by the various departments• Produce digital marketing that ensures a consistent quality and aligned with Tauck's branding style
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Collaborate and brainstorm with marketing and cross-departmental team members on a wide range of marketing• Develop concepts, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage oftypography, color, imagery, animation, and layout• Translate Brand team's strategic direction into high-quality design within the established Tauck brand style• Meet deadlines and manage the uploading of assets to content management systems
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:• 5+ years of experience in professional design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Familiar with motion graphics animation tools and techniques• Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus• Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar, a plus• Desire to continue building skill set with education and training• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or related discipline
