Job Description:
Oversee, contribute to, and execute social editorial and promotional calendar for Client and individual sports originals titles with special attention paid to properties within the Client portfolio.
Advise social leadership on go-to-market planning for upcoming campaigns using current platform and editorial trends.
Pitch, develop, and plan breakthrough social creative that drives high engagement before, during, and/or after our live events.
Utilize strong sports editorial judgement to recognize and curate socially-relevant moments that connect sports originals titles with live broadcasts and around the sports landscape, utilizing content production tools to optimize posts for each platform.
Communicate clearly and effectively with agency partners who support day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with the Client brand social team and other cross-functional teams to make the biggest impact for priority moments broadcasts.
Utilize insights and reporting to recommend changes to content and strategic approach.
Build relationships and become a trusted partner with the external leagues/organizations we work with and athlete/talent teams
Contribute to the maintenance of the team’s CMS.
Experience:
Social media manager/exp in entertainment.
Worked with originals or storytelling projects. Brand social media exp. Or Social media exp in sports field.
Don’t need to be sports guru, but needs to be sports fan and understand sports. Broad knowledge preferred.
Years of exp: 5 years exp in one of the social media marketing above.
Skills:
Adobe Photoshop 2 - 4 Years
Adobe premiere pro 2 - 4 Years
Grabyo 2 - 4 Years
Marketing and social media 2 - 4 Years
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
