Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for e-commerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise customers. We have 50+ team members spread across the US, UK, Canada, India and Australia. 30+ members are based in Austin, TX. We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong collaborative mindset.What You’ll Do:The Chief Marketing Officer will lead the development and execution of our overall marketing and communications strategy with a particular focus on lifecycle marketing, product, and content marketing. This role will work closely with teams across the organization from Product, Operations, Partnerships, and Sales to create a comprehensive and impactful marketing engine.Our ideal candidate is a highly creative, energetic SaaS software veteran who is looking to grow on our already established reputation as a market leader in our space. We are looking for a collaborative, creative, and customer-first leader. This candidate is a self-starter who is ready to “muck in” to other departments as needed. We have a unique voice that we want to amplify to the next level.Your Impact:Understand what drives market interest and market dynamics and translate these into actionable strategies & tactics to maximize goals and deliver on KPIs.

Analyze and measure marketing performance, and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts.

Establish the go-to-market vision, strategy, and associated roadmaps for the ShipperHQ product portfolio and communicate that vision and strategy internally across the organization as well as externally to customers, partners, and analysts.

Build brand awareness through events and top-of-funnel marketing tactics.

Oversee the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns, including the use of digital marketing, content marketing, and events.

Provide strong leadership and oversight to a high-performance Marketing Team.

Architect and drive customer marketing initiatives, including customer engagement, education, and communication programs.

Ensure marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives.

Work cross-functionally to define a clear customer brand and compelling value proposition, to define our ongoing path to growth by shaping our identity, offerings and positioning in the marketplace.

Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as media outlets and industry associations.

What We're Looking For:Experience:A minimum of 8+ years of marketing management experience with a strong grasp of today's rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape.

Demonstrable success in branding through traditional and social media channels.

Tech-Savvy:Proficient in leveraging advanced marketing technologies and analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize strategies, and enhance brand presence and customer engagement through e-commerce platforms and digital marketing channels.

Adept at integrating traditional marketing techniques with cutting-edge digital innovations to create comprehensive and effective marketing campaigns.

Personality traits:Hands-on and highly entrepreneurial with a preference for rapidly evolving markets.

Strategic thinker who can build innovative marketing campaigns, combined with the tactical ability to execute.

Possess the ability to influence others, implement change, and standardize processes in a complex environment.

Superior analytical skills and attention to detail with good business judgment and exceptional maturity, diplomacy, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

A compelling communicator - able to convey needed executive presence with internal and external audiences, including the ShipperHQ leadership team, analysts, clients, and partners.

Attitude:You're adept at navigating ambiguity and excelling in dynamic, rapidly growing organizations. You approach challenges with a positive attitude and take initiative to find solutions.
