If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Sequoia is looking for an innovative, creative, and experienced, Director of UX who can lead our user experience journey on our Sequoia platform. You will be a key leader of a cross-functional team who will work with and understand our end users needs and translate those into tangible and efficient designs. This role will report into our GM Solutions, and will be integral to our continued success and growth.What you'll do:As the Director of User Experience at Sequoia, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic planning and implementation of our user experience initiatives.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless flow of communication and coordination throughout the organization.With your oversight, you will drive the product development process, ensuring brand consistency and maintaining our vision.Monitoring and executing performance metrics will be key in your role, as you guide the team towards achieving our goals.Your leadership skills will be essential in managing and developing a high-performing team. Additionally, your technical design expertise and guidance will contribute to the overall success of our products and services.Required Skills and Experience:At least 10 years of experience in user experience or a related field.A proven track record in strategic planning and implementation is required.Strong cross-departmental collaboration and communication skills are necessary to be successful in this position.You should have extensive experience in product development oversight, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Brand consistency and vision maintenance should be second nature to you.Proficiency in monitoring and executing performance metrics is essential.Demonstrated leadership and team management experience is a must. Hands on Technical design expertise and guidance are crucial for this role.Preferred QualificationsExperience leading user experience teams in a fast-paced environment.Experience in the HCM/Tech SpaceFamiliarity with agile methodologies and design thinking processes is desired.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be an asset in this role.Experience in user research and testing is preferred.Knowledge of UX/UI tools and technologies like Figma is highly beneficial.
