Ohana Design & Build's parent company, Ohana Real Estate Investors (Ohana) is a vertically integrated, SEC-registered firm that acquires, finances and develops high-quality real estate in urban and resort markets with nearly $3B in AUM and over $4B in total investments to date.Your OpportunityOhana Design & Build is looking for a detail-oriented, multitasking Interior Design Assistant to join our Design Services Team as we continue to expand our presence and portfolio in Park City, UT. The right candidate for the job loves an exciting, project-based environment, and thrives on variety. The Interior Design Assistant must be able to effectively manage assigned tasks and projects through to completion, function independently in a dynamic small office environment and on construction sites, and work collaboratively with remote teammates across different office locations.In this role, you will be aiding the Assistant Design Manager with managing multiple interior design tasks and projects on a daily basis. A knack for organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and effective communication is a must. The right candidate is enthusiastic about interior design, capable of efficiently working on both assigned and self-directed tasks to bring projects to successful completion, and is eager to learn. You should be fluent in Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and Adobe Photoshop or InDesign.An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred, but industry experience alone will be considered. At least one year of experience in an entry level design role is required. This position will report to the Assistant Design Manager. Candidate must live near or be willing to relocate to the Park City, UT area.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Interior Design Assistant, you will perform the following tasks based on direction from the Assistant Design Manager and with guidance from Designers and Project Managers.Use Studio Designer software to enter, verify, and update project data with a focus on FFE including specifications, pricing, and vendor detailsCreate and modify furniture floorplans and interior elevations in AutoCAD or RevitCreate and modify PowerPoint presentations, utilizing Photoshop and/or InDesignUse Microsoft Excel to generate and update project schedulesMonitor status of FFE purchase orders and proposalsComplete Work In Progress reportsAttend client presentations , take notes and assist with executing follow-up itemsAssist with scheduling client meetings and sending project updatesAttend site visits to help identify areas that need verification and coordinate actual FFE dimensions with final plan, confirm FFE and finish details, meet with vendors, etc.Assist with budget preparation to include quoting, pricing, negotiation, data entry and proposal generation for all FFEOrder and organize project and library samples, prepare visual support materialsDocument all aspects of design process and file data according to departmental standardsAssist with project installations, generate punch list report and follow up to solve all issuesQualifications and TraitsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field preferredAt least one year of relevant project management experience requiredProficiency in AutoCAD or RevitGraphics skills; proficiency in InDesign or PhotoshopProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to effectively meet deadlines and manage multiple projectsProven organizational and follow-through skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys being part of the teamAbility to understand and execute directives in a clear, concise and timely mannerAbility to break down processes into simple manageable tasksAbility to remain focused to self-direct day to day tasks to achieve departmental goalsCompensationSalary dependent on experience.
