We are searching for a phenomenal marketing mind with a huge heart and willingness to dig in and make things happen.The Director of Marketing is a critical role in our fast-changing organization. The Cure Starts Now is beginning some of its most ambitious campaigns to date, and the Marketing Manager will have the chance to have a direct impact on its success. We are looking for a creative and organized, leader who will implement marketing initiatives for our growing charity. You will be the principal leader charged with developing and executing strategies to promote and amplify our brand on multiple platforms.Under the leadership of the CEO, the Director of Marketing works with staff and executive leaders to advance The Cure Starts Now vision through all types of marketing channels.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute marketing strategy with CEO, founders and other senior staff.Be able to create materials in Adobe Suite.Work closely with development staff to create effective fundraising campaigns and materials.Submit regular reports on campaigns, engagement levels, and progress.Drives tone, manner, and voice of communications in coordination with the agreed upon goals of the business and our collective brandsManage and execute, in coordination with designers and communications, the creation of all written literature such as brochuresDrive the look, feel, manner and tone of websites, literature and advertising and work with design team to execute using SEO and UX tools.Manage and execute strategy for all media planning, placement and creativeManage the creation, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic materials, including e-newsletters and e-blasts, annual report, marketing, development, and solicitation materials,Work with leadership to identify media opportunities and implement media campaigns around key programs and issues. Work closely with CEO and staff to ensure appropriate response to media requests.Manage marketing and design staff including approving changes to design templates or processes.Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, not-for-profits, and pediatric cancer research. Use this information to assist with initiative and innovation campaigns.Responsible for planning, running, and optimizing ad campaigns, including Facebook, Instagram, Google AdWords, YouTube etc.Continual research on fundraiser-based marketing strategiesPerform other duties as necessary.Experience, Competencies and SkillsRequiredMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, design or related field.4+ years of experience in design and marketing.4+ years Adobe Suite software proficiency.2+ years of experience leading a marketing team of 2 or more.Expert with SEO and content optimization.PreferredGoal orientated with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and dedication to the mission of The Cure Starts Now.Ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator and motivator who can lead a team of marketers and designers to success and thrive in a fast-past environment.Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and design activities.Ability to able to delegate, track and

execute

multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities simultaneously.Strong copywriting and proofing skillsWillingness to speak in public and have excellent written communication skills.Applicants should have strong time management skills and a strong eye for detail.Applicants should possess the ability to work in a fast- paced environment managing multiple projects concurrently.Willingness to continue educating yourself on trends, techniques, ideas and competitive analysis.Ability to effectively plan, focus, and execute to bring improvement to current ways of doing business and motivate colleagues, volunteers, partners and donors.Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practice in day to day interaction.Familiarity with UX (user experience) trends.Requires some travel, evening and weekend availability.$70,000-$90,000 per year based on experience.This job is an on-site position at our Woodlawn, OH Headquarters
