About the Role

GoodRx is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Communications Director to join our growing Communications Team. This role will report to the VP of Communications and be responsible for driving strategy and storytelling across business priorities. This person needs to be a strong writer and creative thinker with strong media relations skills. PR experience required.

This position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and experience working within the space.

The right candidate will be excited to make an impact in the world by driving thoughtful and unique communications campaigns across earned and paid channels. They will have a willingness to jump in at all levels of comms strategy and execution, and will bring fresh ideas that map to our mission of providing Americans with the care they need at a price they can afford.

ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in the development and execution of our corporate communications strategyDevelop executive communications strategies, thought leadership programs, and speaking opportunitiesWork closely with the marketing team to drive conversations around high-value conditions and help increase the company's awareness, reach and engagement with target audiencesCreate robust consumer media programs that drive deeper storytelling by leveraging our content and internal expertsSupport the research team by developing proactive media opportunities around key reportsAmplify earned media efforts through paid editorial sponsorshipsSkills & Qualifications

B.S. in communications or equivalent12+ years of experience in a communications roleExperienced storyteller with strong understanding of the healthcare industry, direct experience working with pharma or a leading healthcare organization a plusEstablished relationships with relevant reporters across business, consumer and trade mediaExcellent writing and editing skillsStrong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organizationA strategic thinker that applies a big picture view to all situations and opportunitiesEye for detail and ability to work independentlyA passion for making an impact in real people's lives with meaningful content and information

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:$151,000.00 - $242,000.00

New York Office:$139,000.00 - $222,000.00

Santa Monica Office:$126,000.00 - $202,000.00

Other Office Locations:$113,000.00 - $182,000.00
