The Marketing Support Associate provides support for the marketing staff. Coordinates the planning and organization of special events involving statewide issues. Researches and obtains current information of competitors consumer products and services.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Provides support for staff including preparing materials, assisting with market research, and responding to incoming calls for information.
2. Coordinates production of marketing material with word processing, graphics, or printing services.
3. Coordinates the planning and organization of special events, including seminars, dinners,receptions, etc.
4. Makes arrangements to select the event's site including negotiating the terms andagreements for the event.
5. Finalizes arrangements for events, making hotel room reservations for guests, selecting a menu, arranging for audio-visual equipment, contacting the local press, and providing forsecurity.
6. Determines and arranges the appropriate entertainment for the event.
7. Develops budget proposals for the event, negotiates the terms for the required services,and audits bills from suppliers.
8. Maintains competitor files, researching and obtaining current information of competitor products and services.
9. Compiles statistics and creates reports for management on sales and performanceactivity.
10. Communicates with external vendors, consultants, and various publications to gatherinformation for the staff or to provide information about the bank's consumer products andservices.
11. Assembles and helps modify materials for analysis or presentation.
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
1.Organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail are needed tocoordinate production of materials and coordinate special events.
2.Knowledge of financial industry consumer products and services, usually acquired throughprior experience, to assist staff.
3.Analytical skills to prepare management reports.
4.Minimum 2 years related experience.
