Applied Control Engineering is looking for a Technical Marketing Specialist who will work closely with our project delivery staff and marketing agency to coordinate the design and development of marketing collateral and technical content, maintain our website and digital presence across partner sites and social media, and manage tradeshow logistics. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across groups to effectively manage projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating messaging strategies and marketing campaigns that educate and inform current and future clients about topics relevant to the Operational Technology (OT) space and our capabilities. You'll also manage our social media content and be responsible for the development and coordination of technical content including:

Technical and informational blogsCase studiesWhitepapersArticles for publication on other channelsSome items you will be principally responsible for generating (in conjunction with our subject matter experts) and others will be coordinated without outside marketing agency.

In addition, the person in this role will be responsible for coordinating ACE's participation in industry events (usually about 10 per year), including the development of materials and messaging.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing or communication. Alternatively, a technical degree with work experience as a marketing professionalWork requirements: 5-7 years in a mix of marketing and technical roles in an industrial automation and controls environmentSkills:

Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with the public and mediaA kind and professional demeanor to project a positive image for the companyProblem-solving skills to handle sensitive issues that might arise surrounding the company's public imageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skills to manage several projects at a time, while successfully coordinating meetings and deadlinesSpeaking skills for speaking on behalf of a company, as well as the ability to maintain key company messaging in all verbal interactionsWriting skills to write clear, grammatically correct, professional social media content, blog posts, Web copy, and other technical contentExperience with HubSpot and Canva a plus

Level of Autonomy: Semi-autonomous, they manage their workload with some oversight. but are trusted to solve routine problems, make decisions, and plan and execute projects with periodic check-ins from supervisor.Career Level: Mid-Level
