About the Marketing Coordinator position

Responsible for the content management of an interactive marketing campaign through social media and online reputation management. Support of Food & Beverage marketing campaigns and support. Analytics and reporting of various campaigns. Assisting DOSM to develop and implement communications, promotions, publicity and revenue-generating programs for the total hotel to include guest rooms and F&B outlets.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Aid in the ongoing promotion of hotel packages, dining experiences and special event offerings.

Strive to increase awareness of our positioning within the local community through media outreach.

Maintain and organize photography and logos database.

Ongoing monitoring of Social Media conversations and respond as needed based on overall Social Media strategy of the hotel.

Qualifications and Expectations:

University or College degree/diploma preferably in Hospitality, Marketing or Business (Recommended)

Exceptional working knowledge of Social Media and how to adapt that to a work environment.

(Facebook, Instagram, Google+ YouTube, etc.)

Strong written and oral English language skills

Computer training and typing Skills. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Constant Contact, In Design, Photoshop or equivalents).
