Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.As a Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that drive meaningful relationships with our B2C prospects and customers.The incumbent will be both creative and well-versed in a wide variety of marketing areas, including content, community, and lifecycle marketing.The Director of Marketing will lead in the development, implementation, and execution of specific marketing plans. Responsibilities include:Building and implementing marketing programs.Monitoring customer needs and evaluating the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives.Managing at least 1 direct report and building a best-in-class marketing team to support business growth.Executing on the strategy as a “player coach.”Owning the marketing process, including product marketing, strategy development, community building, content marketing, and lifecycle marketing.Owning the brand voice, tone, editorial style, and content guidelines across the marketing team.Leveraging ETS’s body of peer-reviewed academic papers to create digestible content.Leading our blog and other publishing channels, including operational management and results reporting.Managing website copy, content, email marketing, and product marketing.Qualifications:Expertise in building engaging online communities and creating data-driven content marketing.Advanced writing and editing skills with a high bar for quality.A collaborative approach, teaming across functions and with partners.Experience re-purposing existing content into new content types for diverse channels.An understanding of modern CMS and UX; ability to supervise content creation on AEM, WordPress, etc.Experience setting and measuring performance against content and channel metrics.Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO and funnel analytics.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree in Marketing or an MBA is preferred.10+ years of marketing experience at a successful consumer education technology brand.Benefits:Health, Vision, Dental insurance plans to choose from.Generous continuous learning support, including tuition reimbursement and online learning access.Generous PTO and vacation time.Additional 8 hours of PTO for volunteer work.Retirement plan (401(a)) and traditional Roth (403b) with company contribution.Commuter Benefits, Pet Insurance, 1-year subscription to Calm App.ETS is mission-driven and action-oriented.Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are at the forefront of ETS employees' daily work.
